Jackie Robinson pave the way for other color stars such as Willie Mays, Roy Campanella, Bob Gibson, Roberto Clemente, Frank Robinson and Ernie Banks. Integrating sports was a battle in which Robinson endured, racial slurs, threats to his life and many pitches thrown at this head, but that did not stop him from making history within modern sports. Jeter was a big part of the Yankees dynasty in the 1990s, leading the team to win five championships. (1996,1998, 1999, 2000, and 2009.) From a very young age Jeter dream was to become the shortstop for the New York Yankees and play baseball in front of the best fans in the world (Yankees fans).
